I can't even explain how incredible I think this video is, clearly the message of kindness and giving is one that should always be valued and spread as often as possible. There is more to it though, perhaps the production itself, the acting and directing set the tone so very well. Perhaps it's the fact that it is in a foreign language and because of that emphasizes how much we are all truly alike and connected by our humanity. It also amazes me that this is a Thai mobile phone advertisement.

Above all, the one thing I knew I wanted when I finished watching it was for it to be a true story. I did some research and while I can not testify that the video in the story is actually true, it may have been based on a true story that happened right here in America.

I found this incredible story on truthorfiction.com:

Dr. Howard Kelly was a distinguished physician who, in 1895, founded the Johns Hopkins Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Johns Hopkins University. According to Dr. Kelly's biographer, Audrey Davis, the doctor was on a walking trip through Northern Pennsylvania one spring day when we stopped by a farm house for a drink of water. A little girl answered his knock at the door and instead of water, brought him a glass of fresh milk. He visited with her briefly, then went his way. Sometime after that, the little girl came to him as a patient and needed surgery. After the surgery, the bill was brought to her room and on it were the words, "Paid in full with one glass of milk."

I still don't know if the story of this little boy is true or not but after reading that story, I like to believe it is. True or not the message is truer than more meaningful than most of the messages we are bombarded with daily. Please, watch and if you enjoy it as much as I did please share it with everyone you know who might be in the need of a little inspiration.
