Sometimes I wish we never grew up, I wish we stayed as innocent, loving and fair as we were in 1st grade. These kids in a Minnesota Elementary are learning about empathy and as usual they really wind up teaching us all something all too often forget as adults. And as usual they get me all choked up.

Last weekend Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh missed a very routine 27 yard field goal at the end of the playoff game with Seattle. The kick which was all but a given would have won the game for the Vikings. I can not even imagine how bad he felt and I thought after seeing it that that is the kind of thing that can really haunt a player and maybe effect him for the rest of his career. luckily for Blair he has some kids who can give him the right perspective on things and make him feel a whole lot better about the miss, and himself.
