There’s a very special fund raising event that will take place on Saturday, May 30. It’s the tenth annual Rolphie Run, which benefits the Rolphie Fund. The Rolphie Fund was set up to benefit children of an econmic need in Schoharie County. The Rolphie Run will be at the Schoharie County Fairgrounds in Cobleskill. This is a motorcycle ride that will begin at 12:00 p.m. If you’re joining the ride, registration begins at 10:00 a.m.

If you don’t have a bike, you can still join everyone for a day of fun for a great cause. There will be plenty of food, entertainment, and they will also give away stuff. All of the proceeds will go to The Rolphie Fund.

On Sunday, you can hear more about The Rolphie Fund and Rolphie Fund on our public affairs show, Capital Region Sunday. I had the pleasure to get together with some of the people that are very close to The Rolphie Fund, Justin Karker, Linda Karker and their good friend Jim. They discussed with me how the Rolphie Fund was set up, more information about The Rolphie Run and how you can help. The show airs Sunday, May 10, on 107.7 WGNA between 6:00 a.m. and 6:10 a.m
