Alligator Loose in Columbia County – Be Careful!

There is an alligator on the loose in Columbia County!

Officials are confirming that an alligator went missing last night from Rhonda’s Reptiles, a local reptile rescue business.

The search is taking place near Mill Road and Route 20.  Officials are saying that because alligators will sun themselves during the day, community members need to be careful and not let their children or pets out in the this area.

If you are in that area and see anything, please be careful and call New Lebanon Animal Control at 339-4008.
