What is very ironic about this song is that it was recorded THE YEAR I WAS BORN. According to Wikipedia.org, Gayla Peevey was a child star who recorded this novelty song when she was 10 years old in … well, I’m not going to tell you what year. It was a big hit back then, but the first graders from All Saints Catholic Academy in Albany thought it should be updated a bit! Here’s their new remake!
