Albany Road Closures From HBO Movie Shoot

HBO Films will be shooting scenes for "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight" in Albany and Schenectady today and tomorrow. As a result, the following roads will be closed.

Although the movie shoot might be a slight inconvenience to local traffic, local aspiring actors have been cast in the film, which includes stars Christopher Plummer and Danny Glover. Albany was also the recent spot for several scenes in the movie "Salt" and "The Place Beyond The Pines."

Road Closures for May 10, 2012:

Location 1 – Washington Avenue between Dove Street and Eagle Street
Road Closures 9:30AM-4PM:
Washington Avenue, between Ft. Orange Club/AE Smith driveways east to Eagle Street
S. Swan Street, between State Street and Eagle Street
N. Hawk Street, between Washington Avenue and Elk Street
S. Swan Street, between Washington Avenue and Elk Street
