Albany Police To Hold Coffee With A Cop Day Tomorrow

Friday is National Coffee With A Cop day, and Albany residents will have a chance to catch up with Albany police for a cup of joe.

According to CBS 6 News, from 8 to 10am tomorrow you can join officers in front of the Albany Police headquarters for a cup of coffee. The article says It's part of a national effort to '...build relationships with the community and police.'

I think this is a really great idea. 99.99999% of our cops are the good guys, and I think little things like this give the community a chance to speak with them one and one and learn they are all about keeping the public safe.
