Guilderland - Three men looted Frank Adams Jewelers in Stuyvesant Plaza Thursday night.  The men entered the store just after 8pm.  They tied up two of the employees while a third employee hid in the bathroom and called 911.  One of the men displayed a black handgun, according to police radio broadcasts and another used a hammer to smash open jewelry cases and take numerous pieces of jewelry.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.  The exact amount of merchandise stolen has not been revealed, though.  Police are investigating the incident and will hopefully have more information from survelliance videos.

The men are described as in their 20s while two of them were of a stocky build.  They were last seen running on foot towards Fuller Road.  One man is believed to have gotten into a late model blue, Toyota sedan.  The other men are believed to have gotten in a dark colored or black Chevy Impala.  Anyone who may seen anything, are urged to contact Guilderland Police.
