Albany Is Part of New York’s Most Binge Watched Show

The show we binge watch the most in the state of New York has ties to Albany.

Maybe this is the show you binge watch the most, maybe not. But it turns out Albany plays a role in the show New Yorkers spend the most time mass consuming: it's The Office!

Yes, the Office featuring Michael Scott and the Dunder Mifflin crew is the most binged watched show in the Empire State according to Business Insider. And if you recall, Albany plays a small role in the show: it is the home of one of the Dunder Mifflin paper branches!

In all honesty, this is not a big surprise to me the Office landed in the top because I have been a huge contributor to this ranking! I have been locked in on watching as much of this show as possible on Netflix since the beginning of the year. My wife Stacy thinks I am crazy for watching it so much, but apparently New Yorkers are right there with me! The show is so funny, and I feel like anyone who watches the show can latch on to one of the characters and say they remind them of someone thay have worked with.
