Albany Event to Help Veterans Prepare for Civilian Life

If you're a veteran or know of one entering back into civilian life, share this event coming to the Capital Region later this month.

There's no way I could understand first-hand having not experienced myself. I can only imagine the shock of fighting in a war abroad and then returning back to civilian life. It must be hard to face the drastic changes that come with having to find a job and finding your space again in your world.

The Times Union and Veteran Center at the College of Saint Rose are presenting On the Home Front: Helping Veterans Prepare for Civilian Life on February 28th. The Times Union says it's "an event highlighting the challenges of Albany-area veterans as they make the transition from the military to everyday life."

If you're not only a veteran or service member who is looking for new options, but maybe a family member or a child of a veteran who is also interested in opportunities, this event is for you as well.
