Albany County Man Arrested, Found with Grenades and Rifles [PHOTO]

With all of these horrific shootings happening in the country, it seems that more and more stories are showing up featuring people with access to an exorbitant number of weapons. The difference is that this one in our backyard.

Edward Reis of Knox was charged after being found with multiple "high-powered" weapons, according to Times Union, including grenades, a grenade launcher, and an AR-15 style rifle at his home.

Reis apparently texted a friend of his saying that “he wanted to go to Arizona and euthanize himself." At first, police were unable to find him but eventually found him at a hotel in East Greenbush. They found a locked room with over a dozen firearms at his house. Sheriff Craig Apple said "We have no idea what his intentions were" and though they were sure he intended for self-harm, they had to be cautious.
