According to a press release from The East Greenbush Police Department, 67-year-old Joanne C. Winaroski of Fifth Avenue in Watervliet supposedly had a grudge against a fellow bingo player.

A witness saw Winaroski walk up to a parked car and intentionally scratch the driver’s side door with a key or other metal object. The witness told the owner of the car, a 66-year-old Slingerlands woman, about it. She then called 911. When the police arrived, the witness pointed Winaroski out to them. They arrested her inside the bingo hall just as play was about to start.

Winaroski was arraigned in East Greenbush Town Court, where the judge issued an Order of Protection to bar the woman from any contact with the victim, and released her to Probation Day Reporting. She’s scheduled for a court appearance on September 5th.
