Earlier this Spring there was actually a brush fire in Rotterdam. That is very unusual. We didn't get any snow over the Winter and conditions are very dry right now all around the region. What we need is rain, and quite a bit of it. Even after the weekend Noreaster dropped a lot of rain of us we are still way below the amount we usually have this time of the year.

Before the rain last weekend the Albany are was about 5.5 inches below our usual rainfall amount. The storm cut that number in half, but it is still dry and we're about 2.7 inches behind.

There's a chance of rain in the forecast tomorrow according to News 10 ABC Meteorologist Steve Caporizzo and we can use it. It it falls while we're at work, that's fine with me.
