Albany Area Fireworks Guide

As many people prepare to head to the Empire State Plaza to join WGNA for one of the Northeast's biggest fireworks displays, we wanted you to be aware of some other great fireworks offered on the Fourth of July in the Albany Area for 2012.

ALBANY - The New York State's 4th of July celebration presented by Price Chopper at the Empire State Plaza.

Admission: Free | Time: 2 p.m. until fireworks at dark

BOLTON LANDING – 4^th of July Fireworks

Admission: Free | Where: Rogers Park Lake Shore Drive

CLIFTON PARK - 4th of July celebration at Clifton Common with the parade at noon, live music, amusement rides, craft show, petting zoo, great food and fireworks.

Admission: Free | Time: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

GLENS FALLS – Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra Concert & Fireworks at Crandall Park, 598 Glen Street.

Admission: Free | Time: 7:30 p.m.

LAKE GEORGE - Fireworks at Shepards Park

Admission: Free | Time: Sundown

TROY - ValleyCats game - Fireworks will take place after the game

Admission: $6.50-$11.50 | Time: Game starts at 6 p.m.

SALEM – Salem Firemen's Carnival & 4^th of July Parade

Admission: Free | Time: Carnival is from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Archibald Street. Parade begins @ 5:00 p.m. at North Main Street. Fireworks begin @ 9:30 p.m.

SARATOGA SPRINGS - All American Celebration in Congress Park starting with the Firecracker Road Race, parade, family day in the park with music, food, games, BBQ, car show, historic homes tours, and fireworks at dusk.
