Albany Area Breakaway And Team Roping ChampionTaylor Hopeck To Appear In Rodeo Events

She's a Barrel Racing, Team Roping, breakaway roping, goat tying, and pole bending champion, and now you can see her and other high school kids do what they do best! 

We met her on the small town tour in Schagticoke.  She came up to our table, boldly took our golden WGNA microphone and told us all about her upcoming rodeo events.  Fascinating!  We're glad she did, and we're happy to spread the word

it's the New York State High School Rodeo Association, and they are having several upcoming events.  One of them is Saturday May 11th from 10 am -2PM at the Painted Pony Rodeo in Lake Luzerne. 

There is another on Friday, the  17th at the Double M in Ballston Spa from 7-10PM 

Looks like a great time, and it's especially great to see high school kids actually put their cellphones, laptops and tablets away and jump on a good old fashioned horse!  (you wouldn't catch me on there for love nor money, but I really respect these kids for doing it!)
