Alan Jackson “I Don’t Even Know Your Name”–Flashback Friday [VIDEO]

It's time to once again break out a musical blast from the past with another edition of Flashback Friday.

With the holidays nearing, we've been playing alot of holiday tunes. One of those tunes is Jeff Foxworthy's "Redneck 12 Days Of Christmas". I've always been a Blue Collar Comedy fan so that got me thinking about a hilarious video that Jeff was featured in back in 1995, Alan Jackson's "I Don't Even Know Your Name". So I decided to feature that song and video this week.

From 1994 's "Who I Am", this was the final single released from the album in May of 1995. The song would reach the top of the charts later that year. Alan has said the song was written as a joke and his family told him he should record it!

For Jeff Foxworthy, this video came out at the height of his popularity. Selling Millions of  Copies of his "You Might Be A Redneck if.." comedy album. He was the perfect guy to play the part in this silly video for a silly song. Alan and Jeff would team up again for a song on Jeff's "Crank It Up" Album called "Redneck Games".
