Just hours after her unexpected dismissal from The Voice, Moriah Formica joined Brian and Chrissy in the WGNA studio to talk about her run on the show.  She admits to being slightly confused by the roller coaster antics of her coach Miley Cyrus who gave the Latham powerhouse singer incredibly high praise one moment and cut her the next.

Moriah Formica burst onto the scene with her fiery audition a month ago and appeared to be a legit candidate to capture The Voice season 13 title. Her fate was in the hands of coach Miley Cyrus who decided that she wouldn't advance to the live shows.  It was a difficult choice and one that appeared to upset fans of the budding star especially after Cyrus noted that she wanted to find a "country music star" all but eliminating Formica from the competition. In the end, Cyrus advanced Janice Freeman, Brooke Simpson, and "country music project" Ashland Craft, all of whom will be joining the other nine artists from Team Blake, Team Jennifer and Team Adam in the lives next week.
