Woman About to Lose Home Prays For a Miracle, Wins $1M [VIDEO]

This is just amazing. I think at one point or another, most of us have been where this woman was just a week or so ago. Penny Pompa, a woman with four children living in Monroe, Connecticut had fallen on some pretty hard times. She had contracted Lyme disease and as a result had a lot of debt mounting from medical bills, and she was just about to lose her house. 

Penny prayed before she went to sleep for a miracle and in the morning... it came. At 8 a.m., she was awoken to a knock on the door and when she got there, it was the crew from Publisher's Clearing House! Yes, I guess someone really does win those prizes. Penny was the winner of $1 million!

I think one of the really cool things is that besides the oversized cardboard check, she also got a REAL check that morning for $25,000 to use as soon as she could get to the bank until the rest of the money is processed. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for her to have that enormous amount of stress lifted from her in an instant.
