First off I would like to congratulate the Syracuse Orange for winning their first bowl game in almost a decade as they defeated Kansas State in a wild offensive game 36-34 in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Being a New Yorker I was cheering on Syracuse and since the game was in the home of the New York Yankees i couldn't help but watch. But myself and i bet many have to wonder about a call at the end of the game when Kansas State's Adrian Hilburn was called for Unsportsmanlike Conduct after scoring a touchdown. What did he do?? He saluted to the crowd! and I don't mean a 1 finger salute. He simply acknowleged the other Kansas State fans in the crowd, and it cost his team 15 yards!  Bad Call, but a great game! Hopefully there will be more games like this especially the super hyped BCS games!!
