Ronnie Toler, a 66 year old veteran passed away last month in Dickson Tennessee. His service was not completely clear but it was known that he served overseas in the 70's and received a National Defense Service Medal. The rehab center where he was however could not find any family for Ronnie in the area so a local funeral home stepped up to make sure he had a proper burial with full military honors.

The funeral home decided to cover the cost of the full honor funeral for Ronnie even though cremation would have been cheaper. Dickson Funeral Home not only stepped up to make sure he was properly honored but one of their employees posted about it on Facebook and what happened shocked everyone.

When the hearse drove up to the cemetery on Monday hundreds of people from all over the state had shown up to show their respects for a soldier they had never known. After, the organizers discovered that Ronnie has a Mother who is still alive in California so a group called,  Patriot Guard Riders will be bringing her son's flag to her there.

When asked why they came to a funeral of someone she didn't know, one of the attendees said, the send off is what every soldiers should get and added, "No soldier left behind".
