A Traffic Stop For Window Tint Leads to Passenger’s Arrest

A 31-year-old Cohoes man that was a passenger in a car ended up with some serious charges after the car was stopped for a window tint violation.

The traffic stop happened Monday on I-90.

Luis Garcia was arrested after he was allegedly found with marijuana and hydrocodone on him. Garcia ended up in more trouble. He was accused of giving police officers a false name.

His list of charges include Falsifying Business Records, Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Criminal Impersonation and Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana. According to the story from WNYT, Garcia’s arraignment happened earlier  today in Guilderland Town Court.
