A Man Says He’s A Survey Taker For Guilderland Central School District – But He’s Not

There’s a man that’s been going from door to door claiming that he’s a survey taker on behalf of the Guilderland Central School District. This happened in the Town Of New Scotland, but it’s within the school district’s area.

In a story that I saw on News 10 ABC, a Guilderland Police captain mentioned that it appeared that he has a peddler’s permit filed with the town, and is trying to sell children’s books. Something that the man allegedly asked was about how many children they had.

The Guilderland Central School District posted a community notice on its website, and updated it as they found out more information. It was also noted that the man has no relation with the district and that surveys are not done in this manner. The Guilderland Police are keeping an eye on the incident.
