The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is predicting temperatures will be 'well above average' this summer.

Upstate NY, and most of the country for that matter, have a hot summer ahead according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). As you can see from the graph below, the greatest chances for what the NOAA calls 'top tier warmth' are in the Northeast and out West. The darker colors mean a higher chance of a warmer than normal summer:

I am no meteorologist, but the words 'top tier warmth' mean get the air conditioners ready and keep plenty of ice on hand to keep those coolers of beer chilled!
