They'll help take you back to a simpler time in downtown, Albany. A time where worries were few, life wasn't so busy and technology hadn't taken over.

Every Saturday through September 3rd, you can take a beautiful horse drawn trolley ride starting at Albany's Irish American Heritage Museum and have a local historian walk you through some of the Capital Regions most memorable moments.

Come out and enjoy this new treat in Downtown Albany. The trolley will pick you up in front of the Irish American Heritage Museum at 370 Broadway Albany, NY and make it's way through Historic Downtown Albany. A local historian will walk you through some great points of interest. Did you know that Herman Melville, author, wrote Moby Dick while staying here in Albany or the very first official basketball game was played right here at the then YMCA on Pearl Street? Come and enjoy some local history and relax as we bring you back in time all while riding on a horse drawn trolley.

Rides take place every Saturday at 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM. 

This ride is approximately 1 1/2 hours long. Bring your cameras and enjoy Albany as we bring you back in History.
