A First Glimpse Of The Place Beyond The Pines [VIDEO]

There was a alot of excitement last summer as a Hollywood movie was being filmed right here in the area. Sometimes movies will be said to take place in one city, but actually be filmed someplace completely different. The Place Beyond The Pines is not one of those movies, this film takes place in Schenectady and surrounding areas and was actually filmed here too.  The title is the English meaning Schenectady, which is derived loosely from a Mohawk word for “place beyond the pine plains.”

The Crime Drama that Stars Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling will hit theatres nationwide later this year and here is the first movie clip to make the rounds on the web.
