A Countryfest Blast From the Past

WGNA's Countryfest 2011 is just s a few short weeks away, and I'd thought I would bring to you some of our Countryfest alumni. You can also leave your memories on the Countryfest Yearbook page. A while back I did a blog on the very first performer at the first Countryfest - David Ball.We've had so many performers play Countryfest it's almost always a cool thing when we think back on all the stars that we have brought in for you to enjoy in a full day of live country music. This duo have had a string of hits in their career, and one of them is related to one of our performers this year. John Michael Montgomery is the brother of Eddie Montgomery. Of course I'm talking about Montgomery Gentry.
