A new reality show is having casting calls.  An official nation-wide search for members of America’s first Country Boyband Musical Tour has been announced.  They are seeking the most talented singers in the nation between 16 and 25 years of age who also have good dance skills, the look and the personality.  More information is at their website. The first casting call is on November 12th in Tampa, FL.

And speaking of boy bands, very exciting news – Rascal Flatts are in the design stages of creating a clothing line.  You might remember the boys promoting a line for JC Penney called American Living.

Miranda Lambert’s new album, “Four the Record” comes out today.  14-songs total are on the album including her latest single, “Baggage Claim” – love that one!  There’s apparently also a Limited Deluxe Edition version of the album that has a bonus song and DVD featuring Miranda talking about each song and the story behind each one.  There’s even a duet featuring her hubby, Blake Shelton, called “Better In The Long Run.”

Also, out today, Brad Paisley’s book, “Diary Of A Player.”  Brad’s book is a salute to the guitar gods of country, blues, and rock & roll music that have shaped his life as a musician.  And Craig Morgan releasing This Ole Boy, a 5-song EP.  It is available for digital purchase beginning today with the full-length album due out early 2012.
