As we conclude the first week of the new year, Lady Antebellum's Own the Night album, remains No. 1 again this week on the country album chart.  The record has sold nearly 54,000 copies.

Martina McBride is planning to be healthier this year.  She blogged today that she's ready to get back into a healthy lifestyle now that the holidays are over.  She wrote, "Let's face it, the holidays are really just a time (for most of us) when we say 'heck with it' and let it all hang loose.  Literally.  As in, I only wear baggy, shapeless clothing starting at Thanksgiving and continue through the first week of January..."

The Band Perry will be performing tonight.  They are set to sing the national anthem for the 76th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.  The game is being played at Cowboys Stadium, "one of the biggest and best venues in the entire world," according to Kimberly.  The game kicks off at 8pm on FOX and will be broadcasted nationally.

Over the holidays, Brad Paisley decided his tour's name was outdated and changed the title from it's previous name, Cowabunga! Tour.  Brad felt it resembled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too much and announced the name change on his official website.  The tour is now called, "Virtual Reality World Tour."

Keith Urban is reportedly doing better since his vocal cord surgery.  He is scheduled to perform in about a month for a fundraiser to benefit the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation.  The event is called "Date Night with Keith Urban."  That performance will be on February 10th with a performance also on tap for the following night at the "Rodeo and Stock Show" in San Antonio.

And another eligible country singing bachelor has been taken off the list, ladies.  Lee Brice is getting married.  US Weekly reported Lee proposed to longtime girlfriend, Sarah Reevely.  The two were vacationing in Key West, FL when he popped the question.  The couple have known each other for 13 years and also have a 3-year old son together.
