Everyone knows I love TV.  I especially love a well written, well acted drama. Sometimes it seems though, that with the one or two dramas you have loved for years like "Criminal Minds" or "Law and Order", combined with the newer ones you have found yourself totally hooked on like , "The Blacklist" or "The Following" you can't even imagine finding time to even give a new show a chance. Well, here are a few that I have been watching previews for that I think I just HAVE to at least check out.

1. "Resurrection" on NBC. This show premiered on March 9th at 9:00 pm and I actually MISSED it! I was very mad at myself for not getting my DVR set for it. I expressed my dismay on my Facebook and just about everyone said, GO WATCH IT ONLINE! Well, I did and I am grateful for them pressuring me to do it. I have a feeling this one will keep me tuning in for quite a while.

2. "The 100" on CW. This is one that hasn't had it's premiere yet it is set to premiere on March 19 at 9:00 pm. I really am not sure how well they will pull off this show's plot but if they do it well it truly could be a big hit for the CW. According to IMDB, the idea is that almost a century after a nuclear devastation 100 juvenile delinquents are sent back to Earth to see if re-population is even possible. I of course immediately thought it's a modern day "Grapes of Wrath" which in itself could be amazing, but if the writing is good, it could be great on many different levels. It's worth a look.

3. "Believe" on NBC. This show premiered March 10 at 10:00 pm. I loved the previews of this one, it looked amazing and of course it's a JJ Abrams "Bad Robot" production so how could that be bad right? Add to that the director of "Gravity' and how can it go wrong? Well I will admit that when I watched I did like the premise of the show but I would question some of the casting. Fortunately, the casting problems I thought I saw were not any of the main characters , so they should have that all worked out soon.

4. "Crisis" on NBC. This one we can schedule our DVR's for on March 16 at 10:00 pm. Here is a new action/drama show that would seem to have everything. It centers around a a busload of students who are kidnapped, some of them being the kids of very influential politicians like the President. The question is, "what would you do to save your child?" and a look into how the different agencies handle the "crisis".

5. "True Detective" on HBO. To be honest I was really wondering if I should even include this one because it debuted so long ago on January 12 at 9:00 pm. So long ago in fact that they have already had the season "finale" on last week. I had to include it on the list though because it is just THAT GOOD! If you have not seen this show yet, I would immediately get connected to HBO on Demand, or HBO GO and make it happen. If for no other reason, and there are many, the acting by woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey is AMAZING. they will keep you spellbound every second.
