Mother's Day 2018 is on May 13 and if you found this late, you're in luck because we have five gifts you can make at home for Mother's Day.

Don't worry, you're not the only one trying to find something good to give mom for Mother's Day. Here in the Capital Region, we have Tulip Fest and Mother's Day flowers are a classic. Our list starts with a DIY flower that's great for kids. Dad, you need something to help your kids make for mom? This one can work:

Let's keep going with our second option - another way to make a flower. This time, rolled paper roses. This one is a little more complicated, but still easy. You can do it just with paper too - so if you don't have pipe cleaners lying around the house, you might be able to use this instead.

Another great option for kids - your can use your handprint to make a paper mache bowl that literally has your finger prints all over it. This one takes a little more time to execute, so don't wait until the very last second to put this one together!

Here's another one that you can manage just with paper if you don't have a lot of other things around the house. It's an origami heart. Simple, to the point, and a nice way to show mom you care. The video goes into every detail you need to execute this one, so watch carefully and copy and you can have your own in just a few minutes.

Of course, you're going to need a card too. We haven't forgotten. Luckily, you can make pretty neat looking Mother's Day cards pretty easily with construction paper, scissors, and a little creativity. Here are some easy options that have a homemade touch to them.
