Apple picking season is in full swing, and these are the 5 best spots in the Capital Region according to you!

We recently asked GNA Nation which apple orchards were the best in the Capital Region for apple picking and here are your top 5. If you are looking for a great spot to go apple picking, one of these spots will certainly fill the bill!

5. McWhorter's Orchard in Argyle

With orchards on Routes 40 and 44 in Argyle, McWhorter's offers '... pick your own apples, apples in the barn, cider, cider donuts, pumpkins, squash & pears' along with a .  a free petting zoo and free wagon rides according to their Facebook page.

Apple picking, their own apple cider and craft beers on tap in a special tasting room? No surprise Saratoga Apple lands at #3 on this list!

3. (tie) Hicks Orchard in Granville

According to their website, Hick's is the oldest U-Pick orchard in New York State! Add dynamite homemade cider and donuts (Which you can have shipped to you!) and you have apple heaven.

2. Bowman's Apple Orchard in Rexford

Bowman's not only offers great apples, berry and pumpkin picking but also has a bunch of farm animals on site for to kids to see.

1. Indian Ladder in Altamont

Landing at #1, it's Indian Ladder, another great spot that has their own hard cider and brewery with a food truck in their beer garden! Is their anything more fall than picking apples and wrapping up the day with a hard apple cider?
