4 New License Plates Coming In NY

There will soon be some new specialty options when choosing new plates for your vehicle.

Three of the four new plates will be for Veterans, according to the Daily News. Veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan will be able to get plates that say "Veteran of the Iraq War” and “Veteran of the Afghanistan War." The third Veteran plate will be marked with "AMVETS," for the American Veterans organization. I don't know if there is ever a way where we could pay back our Veterans for the sacrifices they made, but recognizing them is always a good start.

The Daily News article says the fourth plate '...will celebrate the Appalachian Trail.'
