2015’s 8 New Phrases for Conversation Hearts

In an attempt to make this Valentine's Day a little more current, Sweethearts ran a contest this year where kids could submit suggestions for new phrases on conversation hearts and they picked three phrases directly from kids. Each of the kids who submitted a winning phrase got $1,000.

This way, the hearts will actually have phrases that kids actually say!

The three new phrases from kids are:  "GIRL POWER," "PUGS & KITTENS," and "LUV 2 DANCE."

The five other new conversation hearts for 2015 are: "BFF," "TE AMO," which is "I love you" in Spanish, "JE T'AIME," which is "I love you" in French, a picture of a smiley face, and a picture of a handlebar mustache.

I'm not sure I'm sold on the flavor or consistency of the candy, but I do really dig the new phrases, and the idea behind the contest!
