2013 Country Idol Update – Northeast Talent Search

The search for a $5,000 Country Idol winner continues in the Northeast at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

We are half way through the 2013 season, but there's still a chance for you to get one of the coveted audition spots by clicking here. 10 contestants are picked from on-line registration and 10 are selected in person at random to sing for the rotating panel of guest judges. Each singer is scored on appearance (10 points), stage presence (15 points), and vocals (25 points). The top 5 scoring contestants from each month are invited back for the finals on June 20, 2013.

At the finals, the top 5 scoring singers of the finals night will come back on stage to sing a second song. The highest scoring contestant of the final group's second song wins the $5,000!
